Prefer candidates with previous Level 2 Trauma experience. Location: 205 North East Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201 Job Summary: The Med Surg Registered Nurse delivers safe, patient-centered nursing care by applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients using evidence-based practice. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Communicate patient status and care needs to physicians and the healthcare team. Support patients and families through education and care coordination. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience. Ability to float to equal or lower-acuity units as requested. 13-week engagement with auto-offer approved. Previous Level 2 Trauma Experience Preferred. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS). Current active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
