Location Detail: 1244 Storrs Road Mansfield (10100) Shift Detail: Monday - Friday. Please note: This position will be based in Storrs for the first year and will transition to Plainfield thereafter. Job Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Oncology division, you will provide compassionate, skilled nursing care under the guidance of our providers. Your role will involve: • Delivering office-based nursing care collaboratively with providers. • Assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial needs alongside any environmental factors, then formulating and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan. • Exhibiting independent nursing actions based on thorough assessments and problem identification. • Effectively triaging telephone calls, ensuring prompt and professional nursing interventions. • Supporting patients and their families with empathy and respect for confidentiality and privacy. You may also be required to travel to other regional offices as needed. Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of Connecticut and certified in CPR. • Preferred: Three years of experience in a medical practice. • Familiarity with medical software is an advantage.
