Medical Review Specialist in Anchorage, AK

A company is looking for a Medical Review Specialist, remote position in the EST / CST time zone. Key Responsibilities Review medical bills and documentation according to guidelines and company policies Determine the relationship and necessity of treatment related to covered injuries Provide customer service regarding bill reviews and make reimbursement recommendations Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in Evaluation and Management (E&M) 1+ years of medical coding experience, preferably in CPT and ICD-10 1+ years of experience in Medical Bill Repricing is preferred Knowledge of Medicare is preferred Certification as a Professional Coder is a plus but not required
