Key Duties
• Provides exceptional patient care by applying the nursing process, showcasing expertise and specialized clinical abilities for the assigned unit, in line with hospital policies, protocols, and care standards.
• Seeks guidance from relevant hospital resources to deliver targeted patient education.
• Prioritizes patient and workplace safety by proactively preventing errors, incidents, infections, and promptly reporting any risks or issues.
• Ensures timely and precise documentation to maintain a complete, accurate legal record of patient care.
• Advances nursing practice through ongoing professional growth, networking, research, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Essential Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (BSN required within 12 years of hire) [REQUIRED]
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Iowa [REQUIRED]
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be kept valid [REQUIRED]
