Travel RN – Med Surg / Tele (Nights) | Quincy, IL Acute Care | 13-Week Contract | Local Candidates Accepted We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night-shift assignment on a Med Surg / Telemetry inpatient surgical unit in Quincy, Illinois. This is a fast-paced acute care environment caring for complex post-operative and medical patients. 📍 Location: Quincy, IL 62301 📅 Assignment Details • Start Date: 02/16/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM start) • Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend • Holidays: Rotational with core staff • Floating: To like units only (higher acuity = helper role only) • Local Candidates: Accepted ✅ Requirements • Active RN license (required at submission) • Minimum 1–2 years of surgical nursing experience • Must-have skills: • Total joint patient care • PCA pumps and reversal agents (Narcan) • Sepsis management • TPN/Lipids • Narcotic administration • Drips: Heparin (titrated per protocol) • Required Certifications: • BLS (AHA) • NIHSS 🧭 Orientation • Unit-specific orientation: 1 × 12-hour shift • First day includes extended general orientation, competencies, and EMR training
