Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Surgical Nurse located in Sheboygan, WI. The Medical Surgical Nurse will provide compassionate, patient-centered care through the planning, implementation, and evaluation of personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, educating patients and families about their healthcare plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients.
Qualifications
• Strong clinical skills, including patient monitoring, administering medications, and performing medical-surgical procedures
• Proficiency in patient education, healthcare communication, and promoting evidence-based practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety and compliance protocols
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
• Highly organized, empathetic, and capable of handling diverse patient needs with attention to detail
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing or hospital settings is highly preferred
