Provide expert IV therapy care in an outpatient setting, specializing in the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. This role requires a skilled Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience, capable of evaluating patients and delivering safe, effective care in collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team. As an infusion nurse, you will manage oncologic and non-oncologic medications, administer blood products, and respond to urgent medical situations to ensure the highest quality of patient-centered care. Responsibilities: • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV therapies following established protocols • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide emergency care when needed • Manage peripheral and central line IV therapy, including blood transfusions • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to evaluate treatment appropriateness • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records • Uphold high standards of infection control and patient comfort Qualifications: • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Maine • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion or oncology settings • Peripheral IV insertion and central line care expertise • Proficient in medication administration and blood transfusions • Chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification preferred but not required • Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment Schedule: • Monday through Friday • 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM • No weekends or on-call duties This is a contract position offering a full 40-hour workweek with no weekend shifts or call requirements, ideal for professionals seeking a stable and balanced schedule.
