Job Description
An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical experience to support adult and geriatric patient care in a hospital setting located in Claremont, NH. This contract role requires coordination of nursing care, patient and family education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to uphold professional nursing standards and deliver quality clinical care. Candidates must possess a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License or Registration Certificate, as state regulations mandate this for temporary RN staffing. Please note that local candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital are not eligible for this assignment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire with Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing in adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficient with the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Ability to work cooperatively with nursing and ancillary staff to maintain clinical quality and safety
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients within assigned unit
• Participate in patient and family education initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet professional nursing practice standards
• Adhere to dress code by wearing traveler-provided professional scrubs without logos
• Comply with all medical and occupational health compliance requirements within 5 days of offer acceptance
