Key Responsibilities: • Provide skilled nursing care to geriatric patients adhering to best practice standards. • Serve as charge nurse on weekends (Friday to Sunday), overseeing unit operations and staff coordination. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. • Fulfill holiday and floating assignments as required to ensure consistent patient coverage. Qualifications: • Current Alaska RN license is mandatory. • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care. • Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) required. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage charge nurse responsibilities. • Availability for 12-hour day shifts primarily scheduled Fridays through Sundays. Schedule & Assignment Details: • 16-week contract role. • 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour day shifts Friday through Sunday. • Weekend rotation and holiday coverage required. • No on-call duties.
