A healthcare facility in Hoisington, KS, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to support a contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, working primarily day shifts. Key Qualifications: • Minimum of 1 year hospital medical-surgical nursing experience required. • KS Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license. • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. • Experience administering intravenous drips (gtts) such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem preferred. • Ability to float within scope of practice to Emergency Department as needed. • Must be nicotine-free. • Weekend availability: 2 weekends per month. • Holiday rotation required. • New graduates are not accepted for this role. Schedule: • Day shift (06:45 AM 7:15 PM). Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care on medical-surgical units with strong critical thinking and clinical judgement. • Administer medications, including IV drips, safely and according to protocol. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. • Adhere to facility policies and standards to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. • Participate in required orientation and virtual onboarding processes prior to starting.
