Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Inkom, Idaho in Inkom, ID

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Orthopedic/Medical Surgical RN on the night shift at a healthcare facility in Inkom, ID. This role offers the chance to provide focused care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including those recovering from surgery or managing chronic orthopedic issues. Schedule & Hours: • Night shift • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15) Responsibilities: • Deliver specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients, including post-operative recovery and injury management • Educate patients and families on care plans, injury prevention, and chronic condition management • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care • Accurately chart patient information using Epic electronic health records system • Maintain patient safety while managing a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 10-bed unit Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 1 year of experience • Proficient with Epic electronic charting system • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) • Experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing preferred • Ability to work night shifts with a reliable schedule • Travel experience not required • Willingness to comply with a 100-mile radius work rule Location Insight: Inkom, Idaho is a welcoming community known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities, offering a peaceful environment close to urban amenities.
