The unit maintains exceptional infection control records with no CAUTI for over 3 years and no CLABSI for 4+ months, exemplifying its commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and medical-surgical management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
• Uphold unit policies and effective infection control practices
• Participate in self-scheduling with a commitment to working every other weekend
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure required
• Experience in med-surg oncology nursing preferred
• Chemotherapy certification is a valued asset
• Strong clinical skills combined with critical thinking and compassion
