An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to provide specialized orthopedic care in a hospital setting. This contract position offers a focused role caring for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and post-surgical needs, primarily during the night shift. Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of nursing experience and familiarity with electronic charting systems. Location Based in McCammon, Idaho, this role serves a community known for its scenic landscapes and outdoor recreational activities. Schedule • Night shift • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 to 07:15) Responsibilities • Deliver specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients, including post-operative and injury management • Manage patient education related to musculoskeletal health and prevention strategies • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting system • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes • Monitor patient status with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 across approximately 10 rooms Qualifications • Current RN with Medical-Surgical background required • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience • Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records • Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) • Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred This position adheres to a 100-mile radius rule for travel.
