Job Description
Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers a focused opportunity to support patient care in a well-established medical center located in Meriden, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry care, including cardiac rhythm tracking.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies with clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current RN licensure with experience in telemetry nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Schedule and Location:
• Located in Meriden, Connecticut.
• Part-time contract with an option for 36 or up to 48 hours per week.
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) schedule available.
