Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Moscow, Idaho in Moscow, ID

A Med/Surg Nurse is needed to provide direct, individualized nursing care to patients by applying scientific nursing principles. This role involves coordinating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, educating patients on surgical procedures, recording vital signs and medical information, monitoring specialized equipment, and providing bedside care to medical and surgical patients.

Key duties include initiating patient education plans, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, responding promptly to life-saving situations, and participating in discharge planning. Accurate and timely documentation of all care provided is essential.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid RN license in Idaho or multi-state compact license (must be attached with application)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached with application)
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting
