Deliver specialized nursing care in a dynamic renal unit focused on treating patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions. This contract opportunity is based in Moundville, AL and offers flexible scheduling options of either 36 or 48 hours per week, including holiday shifts and every other weekend coverage. Nurses in this role float across units and hospitals, contributing valuable expertise to diverse care settings.

Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a 36-bed renal unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patients throughout their kidney disease journey, from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up care
• Adapt to floating assignments across multiple units and facilities as needed

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Current Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact state (No temporary licenses accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with at least 18 months under an advanced nursing license plus 1 year in renal specialty will also be considered
