
Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Nashua, New Hampshire in Dunstable, MA
Job Description
Key Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid RN license with Med/Surg Telemetry expertise
• Proficient in head-to-toe patient assessments and orthopedic care
• Skilled in IV medication administration including drips (Lasix, heparin), IV push metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin (IV/subQ)
• Experienced in wound care, including drain management and VAC therapy
• Knowledgeable in NGT/G tube care, parenteral nutrition, and central line management (PICC, HD catheters, midlines)
• Competent in foley, nephrostomy, suprapubic catheter, and ostomy care
• Familiarity with postoperative patient care and procedures such as NG tube insertion
• Required certifications: Current RN license, ACLS, BLS
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care on a 48-bed facility with an average census of 27 patients
• Collaborate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to enhance patient care outcomes
• Administer medications and manage specialized patient equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation using computerized systems
• Support patient experience and safety standards within the unit
