Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care for postoperative orthopedic patients, including total joint replacements and spine surgeries. • Utilize specialized equipment such as bladder scanners, Hoyer lifts, and orthopedic braces. • Serve as a charge nurse, managing unit operations and supporting nursing staff. • Float to other inpatient units as needed, including rehab, trauma, med-surg, oncology, and observation. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care. • Participate in emergency team assignments when required, responding to urgent facility needs. Qualifications and Experience: • Registered Nurse (RN) with orthopedic experience required. • Proficient with EPIC electronic health records. • Must be charge capable and willing to take charge nurse responsibilities. • Active ACLS and BLS certifications. • Minimum of two years RN experience; first-time travelers are not accepted. • Comfortable floating to various units within the hospital.
