A skilled Registered Nurse is needed for a 48-hour per week contract within a Medical Surgical Telemetry Float Pool. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings. • Current, active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License. • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). • Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as part of the 48-hour weekly commitment. Location: This position is based near Plainfield, NJ, specifically supporting units in the broader Flemington area. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care across the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as a Float Pool nurse. • Adapt to varying patient needs and unit requirements with flexibility and professionalism. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. • Adhere to all hospital policies including mandatory flu immunization (with allowable medical exemptions) and dress code requiring clean, neat scrubs of any color. Contract Details: • 48 hours per week with scheduled shifts requiring every other weekend and holiday work.
