Job Description
A specialized nursing role is available for experienced registered nurses ready to provide comprehensive care across multiple critical hospital departments. This position offers a unique float opportunity to work within emergency, intensive care, progressive care, medical-surgical, and behavioral health units, delivering high-quality nursing interventions to diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver expert nursing care across ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health units including adult acute, youth acute, and addiction recovery.
• Administer medications, perform patient tests, and assist physicians with examinations and procedures per nursing standards and scope.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, prioritizing patient safety and independent care education.
• Adapt quickly to different clinical environments, managing time efficiently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and technology for patient care and documentation.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (BSN strongly preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience across ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health/Psych settings.
• Proficient with cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation.
• Current RN license in Idaho or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and ability to complete Restraint C and MOAB training during onboarding.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific protocols and ability to maintain flexible assignments across units.
Schedule:
• 12-hour shifts, either 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend required.
Additional Details:
This is a contract position offering exposure to a breadth of clinical experiences with a consistent schedule communicated prior to shifts. Nurses will float as needed, often spending significant time in Med Surg and Behavioral Health, with occasional shifts in ER and ICU. Navy blue scrubs are required.
