Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Rifle, Colorado in Rifle, CO

A Registered Nurse with acute care and med-surg experience is needed for a night shift position in a growing hospital environment. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care on the adult Med-Surg/Acute Care and Observation Unit, supporting increased patient volume stemming from orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Shift & Schedule: • 12-hour night shifts • Weekend rotations required • Participation in a call rotation with one call shift every two weeks Qualifications & Experience: • Current RN license to work in Colorado • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry nursing • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA • Up-to-date flu vaccination required Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based nursing processes • Provide expert care to patients dealing with various acute and chronic conditions • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes • Contribute effectively during increased patient census due to seasonal procedure upticks Housing & Amenities: Access to newly remodeled studio apartments just half a block from the hospital is available.
