A Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience is needed to provide quality patient care in a contract position located in Saginaw, MI. This role involves working under the supervision of the Med-Surg Nurse Manager and delivering nursing care on a general medical-surgical unit, including oncology, obstetrics, hospice, medical, and surgical patients. Responsibilities include: • Conducting thorough nursing assessments and accurately documenting findings in patient charts. • Developing individualized care plans based on patient assessments. • Implementing care plans and ensuring proper documentation throughout the patient’s stay. • Evaluating patient responses to care and updating care plans accordingly. • Supervising and directing unit staff in carrying out specific aspects of the patient care plan. • Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Experience in Med-Surg nursing, with a background in oncology, obstetrics, hospice, or general medical-surgical care. • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. • Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members. • Proficiency in applying nursing processes to patient care.
