
Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Salem, New Hampshire in Lawrence, MA
Job Description
Key Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid RN license with Med/Surg Telemetry expertise
• Proficient in head-to-toe patient assessment and orthopedic care
• Skilled in IV medication administration, including management of drips (Lasix, heparin) and IV push medications (metoprolol, diltiazem, insulin)
• Experience with wound care, including drain management and VAC therapy
• Knowledgeable in NGT/G-tube care and parenteral nutrition
• Proficient in central line management (PICC, HD catheter, midlines)
• Experience caring for patients with Foley, nephrostomy, suprapubic catheters, and ostomies
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
Schedule:
• Every other week (EOW) 12-hour shifts preferred
• Float assignments to like MST units may be required
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a 48-bed unit with an average census of 27 patients
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient care excellence
• Operate advanced equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and remote telemetry monitors
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds on weekdays
