Job Description
This nursing opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in endoscopy procedures, looking to apply their skills in a dynamic medical center. Located in Snellville, GA, this contract role focuses on care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics in an endoscopy unit. The position requires expertise in GI and pulmonary patient diagnoses and experience with procedures such as ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, Bravo, and TIF.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience; candidates without prior experience will not be considered
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Proficient with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR documentation systems
• Familiarity and comfort in managing diverse patient populations from adolescents to elderly
• Ability to comply with call schedules including weekly and weekend rotations, with call every third weekend
• Flexibility to work on major holidays if they fall during the contract period

Responsibilities include:
• Delivering specialized nursing care for endoscopy patients with a variety of GI and pulmonary diagnoses

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Participating in required call schedules and providing holiday coverage as specified
• Potentially floating within the facility as needed within scope of practice
Shift and Schedule:
• Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (06:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Rotation includes every other weekend and specific call expectations
