Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Sparks, Nevada in Reno, NV

A Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience is needed for a contract position starting January 17th in Sparks, NV. This role requires flexibility to float between units and work weekend shifts on night hours (12-hour shifts). Preference is given to candidates who can commit to a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Med-Surg nursing experience
• Ability to float between different units
• Availability to work night shift, weekends, and 12-hour shifts
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or completed attestation/declination

Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care on med-surg units
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed to support different departments
• Follow established protocols and complete required documentation
• Participate in mandatory compliance and training requirements within specified timelines

Contract Details:
• Per diem position for 26 weeks
• Night shifts (12-hour shifts)
• Full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks of start date
