Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a professional demeanor and foster positive relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, aligned with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Assess patient needs through comprehensive data collection, including history, observation, physical exams, and analysis.
• Implement nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and physician's directives.
• Perform hourly patient rounds focused on key care aspects (the 4 Ps).
• Create a caring and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
• Use appropriate health and safety equipment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Provide specialized care for central lines, chest tubes, catheters, pressure ulcers, restraints, and patients at high risk for falls.
• Support department performance through mentoring novice nurses and engaging in evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by setting goals and pursuing educational opportunities.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of medications including large-volume IVs and pre-packaged medication kits.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant clinical experience.
• Competency in patient assessment and evidence-based interventions.
• Experience with specialized clinical care including central line management and pressure ulcer prevention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
