Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) | Towson, Maryland in Towson, MD

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience to work night shifts in a respected healthcare setting. This 10-week contract position offers a focused schedule of 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, supporting patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Location: Towson, MD, a vibrant city known for its blend of urban and suburban amenities. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry units during night shifts • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes quickly and effectively • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Comply with all clinical policies, procedures, and safety protocols • Assist with floating to related lower acuity areas as required Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Current Maryland RN license • BLS and ACLS certification • Experience with NIH Stroke Scale (NIH), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred • Minimum two years' experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing • Ability to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays Schedule/Hours: • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Three 12-hour shifts per week • Every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled This contract is well suited for nurses with solid MS/Telemetry experience seeking flexible work in a respected environment.
