An opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse skilled in managing a 1:6 patient ratio with PCU-level care needs. This contract position requires a strong background in orthopedic nursing and total joint replacement care, combined with flexibility to float within the scope of practice. The role is based in a well-established acute care hospital located in Winter Park, Florida, serving a community with a commitment to quality patient care. Key Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years nursing experience, specifically with a 1:6 patient ratio in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting • Comfortable and proficient with orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing care • ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications required • Ability to float within the nursing scope and adapt to different shifts as needed • Availability to work mandatory five clinical orientation shifts and commit to a night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM) • Compliance with facility policies regarding call-outs, shift changes, and training modules Location Insight: Winter Park, FL offers a charming and inviting community known for its scenic parks, vibrant cultural scene, and excellent recreational opportunities.
