As a Medical Surgical RN, you will provide compassionate care to adults who are ill, injured, or recovering. You will manage patient assessments and treatments, ensuring patient safety and advocating for their needs as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
Your Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to advocate for patient needs.
• Analyze assessment data to inform diagnoses and care plans.
• Provide education for patients and families regarding medications and treatments.
• Utilize resources effectively in providing patient care.
Requirements:
• Current Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Prior RN experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.
