Location: Avera Specialty Hospital-Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50. The pay rate is dependent upon experience. Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 available! Position Highlights: 12 hour shifts with a Day/Night rotation, including every 4th weekend/holiday. A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver essential nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and providing holistic support to patients and their families. What You Will Do: • Provide comprehensive patient care by collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless communication regarding care plans. • Develop personalized nursing care plans by assessing medical histories and current health conditions, documenting key patient information, and establishing clear care goals. • Educate patients and families on healthcare needs, medication, and self-care practices to promote understanding and engagement in their health. • Evaluate patient care and modify care plans as necessary, ensuring adherence to therapeutic standards and responding to changing patient needs. • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following infection-control protocols and adhering to all legal regulations. • Document all patient care services accurately in health records. • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and keep supplies well-stocked and ready for use. • Continuously enhance your nursing knowledge and skills in line with leadership guidance. Essential Qualifications: You must be able to work all specified shifts and effectively communicate with patients and team members.
