Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic Med/Surg unit serving mainly adults, with occasional pediatric patients, in a scenic Vermont location. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered nursing care using the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and occasional pediatric patients
• Collaborate closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor to ensure high standards of care
• Address patients’ physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs with compassion and expertise
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience, preferably with Meditech electronic medical records
• Active RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state compact licensure
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required prior to start
• Ability to provide safe care to adult and occasional pediatric patients (pediatric-only applicants will not be considered)
Schedule / Hours:
• Day shifts with orientation starting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
• Travelers begin on Wednesdays; initial orientation week on a 48-hour contract may guarantee 36 hours due to midweek start
