Provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care in a rural healthcare setting serving patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating with healthcare providers. The position operates under the direct supervision of the nurse manager and includes opportunities to utilize specialized nursing skills in urgent and emergent care situations. Key Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with primary care providers. • Provide triage and appropriate nursing interventions following established protocols. • Administer therapeutic treatments, operate specialized medical equipment, and maintain sterile environments. • Manage various clinical functions such as lab operations, respiratory therapy, and radiology support. • Assist with case management and coordinate care plans alongside referral coordinators and providers. • Document nursing activities, patient observations, and healthcare interventions accurately. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state. Must have applied for Alaska license prior to start if direct hire. • Completion of a BSN, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Nursing. • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire. • Minimum 6 months ambulatory health nursing experience; 1-2 years general nursing experience depending on degree. • Background in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing is a plus. • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to nursing duties.
