Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide nursing interventions for patients from infancy through elderly
• Manage urgent and emergent clinic visits, triaging and directing patients appropriately
• Administer physician-ordered treatments and operate specialized medical equipment
• Maintain sterile environments and oversee medical supplies and lab operations, including phlebotomy and quality assurance tasks
• Conduct respiratory therapy services, radiology support, and assist with case management activities
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and support teams to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in weekend, on-call, and secondary coverage responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or other U.S. state; Alaska licensure must be secured before start date (agency staff require active license)
• Completion of a BSN, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within one year of hire
• Minimum six months ambulatory nursing experience plus at least one year of general RN experience
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, pharmaceuticals, and patient care procedures
• Ability to operate specialized medical equipment and demonstrate excellent communication skills
