Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care across medical, surgical, pediatric, rehabilitative, and high acuity patients.
• Apply critical thinking to rapidly evolving clinical situations.
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support specialty growth opportunities including post-partum care, infusion, wound therapy, and potential cross-training in Emergency and PACU settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license for Utah or a compact state.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1-2 years medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS; ACLS and PALS current or obtainable within one year.
• Willingness to earn Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Flexibility and adaptability for varying duties and schedules.
Additional Details:
• Preferred attire: Blue scrubs.
• Recognized holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Workweek is defined from Sunday 12:01 AM through Saturday 11:59 PM.
