Key Responsibilities:
• Perform professional nursing care using the nursing process to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and socio-cultural needs of patients and families.
• Conduct assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, and administer therapeutic treatments per provider orders.
• Manage urgent and emergent care cases, including triage and coordination with healthcare providers and support services.
• Maintain safe and aseptic clinical environments, operate specialized medical equipment, and oversee laboratory, respiratory therapy, and radiology functions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to case management and referral coordination.
• Comply with required clinical competencies and certification standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another US state; must apply for Alaska license prior to start if direct hire.
• Completion of an accredited BSN, Diploma, or Associate Nursing Degree program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months ambulatory health nursing experience plus 1 year general nursing experience post-BSN, or 2 years general nursing experience.
• Experience in emergency or critical care nursing is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
