Shift Detail: every other weekend and every other holiday

The Greater Manchester Region, with approximately 2,500 employees, includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a 102-bed campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a large multispecialty provider group, and visiting nurse services. Together, we serve a community of 300,000 across 19 towns.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care. Effectively communicate your patient's clinical condition and be proactive in responding to changes in health status. Display a strong understanding of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care for your patients. Enhance the nursing profession through collegial support and professional interactions. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire; certifications must be maintained during employment.
COMPETENCIES:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Basic computer proficiency.
