Neonatal ICU (NICU) Registered Nurse in Breaux Bridge, LA in Breaux Bridge, LA

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with NICU experience to support a healthcare facility in Breaux Bridge, LA. This eight-week contract involves 36 hours per week, focusing on providing exceptional care in the nursery and NICU settings. Candidates with certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) are highly preferred to ensure the highest standards of neonatal and infant patient care.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate and specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU and nursery
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
• Respond promptly in emergency situations utilizing NRP, ACLS, and BLS protocols

Qualifications:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in NICU and nursery nursing
• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
