
Neonatal Intensive Care RN - Richmond, Virginia in Chamberlayne, VA
Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled NICU Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal intensive care. This contract position is based in Richmond, VA, offering the chance to work night shifts in a reputable medical center known for its commitment to neonatal and pediatric care.
Qualified candidates must possess a valid RN license with NICU specialization, current BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. Experience with Epic electronic health records is mandatory, with no exceptions. This role requires prior travel nursing experience, and locals are welcome to apply at the same compensation rate.
Schedule:
• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Rotating shifts
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
