Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Hospitalists for NICU will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role involves performing assessments, administering treatments, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans for infants. The role also requires documenting patient information, providing patient and family education, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• Nurse Practitioners and Neonatal Nursing skills
• Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Medicine
• Strong knowledge of Nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Patient-centered approach to care
• Attention to detail and strong clinical judgment
• Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
