Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is vital to providing high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to departmental needs. Collaborating closely with medical professionals and the care team, the RN will deliver individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care while utilizing established nursing practices. The RN is an advocate for patients and families, embodying our mission and values to ensure exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
• Administer procedures and monitor patients as directed by medical providers, documenting care seamlessly in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and necessary follow-ups for clarity and comprehension.
• Guide patients and families on non-medical follow-up measures, including lifestyle adjustments for health management.
• Promote evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, review, and implement a holistic patient treatment plan that optimizes recovery.
Qualifications Needed:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Diploma in Nursing required.
