Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Neuro ICU Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Day and Night Rotation Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. This position is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote options. Summary: As a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver direct patient care in accordance with professional standards and organizational values. Your responsibilities will include: • Initiating corrective actions based on monitoring and life support equipment readings. • Responding effectively to life-threatening situations using established nursing standards and protocols. • Providing critical care to high-acuity patients in a complex and demanding environment. • Handling high-stress situations with decisive judgment, efficiency, and composure. • Demonstrating critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Requirements: • Minimum Required Education: • Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience. • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. • Required Licensure/Certification: • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and relevant life support certifications as determined by the position level. BLS must be valid through sixty days of hire. • Minimum Experience: • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
