About the Job This is for a New Graduate Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at MedStar Union Memorial, Full time 11:00am-11:00pm/7:00pm-7:00am rotating. Unit Highlights Welcome to MedStar Union Memorial, The Heart and Vascular Institute for MedStar Baltimore. MedStar Union Memorial Emergency Department is a 50-bed unit consisting of 34 main ED beds, 12 non-urgent beds, and 4 psychiatric rooms. Union Memorial is a Primary Stroke Center, STEMI receiving, and home of the Curtis National Hand Trauma Center. The Emergency Department takes pride in their “team nursing” approach to providing safe and top-quality care to their patients. Gain great experience caring for patients of all ages, and various medical complaints. Previous ED tech, extern, or practicum experience strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
