About the Job This is for the MedStar Franklin Square Emergency Department New Graduate Registered Nurse Cohort for Summer 2026 Unit Highlights Welcome to MedStar Franklin Square, a Magnet designated hospital. MedStar Franklin Square Emergency Department is a 62 bed department, with 18 flex beds, and a 9 bed Stroke Response Unit. MedStar Franklin Square is also a STEMI receiving and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Emergency Department see’s approximately 70,000 patients a year and serves a diverse patient population. Emergency Department tech, practicum, or externship strongly preferred. Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and have a Maryland or compact state nursing license. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
