Location: Orlando Regional Medical Center, Downtown Orlando, Florida
Shift: Days (Including rotating weekends and holidays)

Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Nurse Resident in the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you'll provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, acute care environment, managing a wide range of conditions including Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients. Our 40-bed unit operates 24/7 and offers robust support through corporate and unit-based educational opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Administer patient care for acute injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post-intervention in an inpatient/observation setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, case management, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dieticians, spiritual care, and pharmacists.
• Complete all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit.
Education/Training:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensure/Certification:
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required based on specific unit needs.
Experience:
• No prior experience required. This position is designed for licensed registered nurses with less than one year of experience.
