Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting in Dallas, TX. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your RN-NICU expertise in a fast-paced, technology-equipped environment, supporting critically ill newborns with a variety of medical needs.
Key Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) license with NICU experience
• Proficiency with neonatal care equipment such as Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
• Experience documenting in electronic health records (e.g., CPN, Meditech)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to float to related units such as PICU, Pediatrics, or CICU as needed

Responsibilities:

• Accurately document patient data in the electronic health record system
• Adhere to unit scheduling and floating policies to maintain optimal staffing levels
This position requires commitment to a 3-shift weekly schedule, each lasting 12 hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. Contract nurses will be prioritized for floating assignments before staff.
