Job Description
Join a dedicated healthcare team providing specialized pediatric and neonatal care in Lakeside, MT. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality inpatient clinical services in NICU and Pediatric Acute Care units, supporting critically ill infants and children with diverse medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in a 12-bed NICU and 12-bed Pediatric/PICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as feeding issues, prematurity, respiratory challenges, and nutritional concerns
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including MDs, RNs, dietitians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
• Utilize EMR systems like Meditech and communication tools such as Volt and Microsoft applications
• Provide NICU-specific care using Crib Notes and manage malnutrition assessments and infant feeding protocols
• Maintain professional standards with no required night shifts, on-call duties, or weekend rotations
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Minimum 2 years inpatient clinical experience in Pediatric Acute Care and NICU
• Registered Nurse (RN) license with necessary certifications including BLS
• Proficiency in NICU nursing practices and nutritional assessments
• Familiarity with infant formulas, breast milk fortification, and feeding interventions
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Montana nursing license required; additional certifications like RDN, CNSC preferred
Schedule / Hours:
• Five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling with monthly rotation planning
• No weekend, night, holiday shifts, or on-call requirements
