Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends
Pay Range: $32.00 - $46.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)
Position Highlights
• 2 years NICU experience required
• This position may be eligible for a Sign on Bonus up to $15,000
• Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, with contributions up to $10,000.
• $3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights!

A Brief Overview
As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, including developing nursing diagnoses and care objectives, delivering patient support, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Your responsibilities will include:
• Implementing patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating care plans.
• Creating and documenting nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Educating patients and families on health requirements and self-care practices.
• Evaluating patient care per standards and modifying plans as necessary.
• Ensuring a safe patient environment by adhering to healthcare regulations and policies.
• Documenting patient care services accurately.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting patient care equipment and supplies.
• Continuously enhancing nursing skills as required by leadership.
Essential Qualifications
Ability to work specified hours, with visual acuity and effective communication skills necessary for patient interaction. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of clinical experience.
