Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring their health and comfort while supporting families during critical early stages. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive care to premature and ill infants, including diaper changes, feeding, and vital sign monitoring. • Coordinate medical treatments in collaboration with NICU physicians and neonatal nurse practitioners. • Attend births, measure and weigh infants, and monitor their health immediately after delivery. • Educate and support new parents on breastfeeding and newborn care techniques. • Perform specialized procedures such as drawing blood and administering treatments. • Lead and supervise nursing staff duties to maintain seamless patient care. • Utilize nursing processes to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Adhere to hospital and unit protocols and directives to ensure quality care. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with NICU experience. • Strong clinical skills in neonatal care and newborn assessments. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. • Excellent communication skills to support families and staff. • Capability to lead and mentor nursing colleagues.
