The Greater Manchester Region employs approximately 2,500 individuals and includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a community hospital with 249 beds, Rockville General, also a part of Manchester Memorial, with 102 beds, plus a multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. POSITION SUMMARY:
As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process. Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care, ensuring timely communication regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions and responses to treatments. You’ll apply your understanding of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care and support the nursing profession through professional interactions and collegial support, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
We require a graduate from an accredited nursing school with active licensure in Connecticut. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is essential; these must be obtained during the introductory orientation period if not already acquired, and you will need to maintain clinical competence throughout your employment in this role.
