This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized skills in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing. The role involves providing expert care to critically ill newborns in a Level II/Level III NICU setting during night shifts. Position Type: Contract Schedule/Hours: • Night shifts • Hours: Approximately 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and interventions. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Maintain compliance with neonatal care standards and ensure patient safety at all times. • Utilize advanced life support techniques (NRP, PALS, ACLS) to respond to emergencies. • Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly. Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Active Registered Nurse license with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Level II or Level III NICU settings. • Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). • Reliable transportation with permanent address located 50 miles or more from the facility.
